All camp fees include horsemanship (5 days,
6 hours of instruction a day), meals, horse
board and feed.

All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided by a professional caterer. Alcohol is not provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own. Dietary requirements (ex: vegetarian or allergies to certain foods) can be accommodated, within reason.

The James Creek Ranch is located 25 minutes out of Merritt, B.C., nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. Nature at its finest, it is secluded and quiet with thousands of acres for riding.

Merritt, B.C. is 3 hours out of Vancouver and 1.5 hours out of Kamloops and Kelowna on the Coquihalla Highways (Hwy 5, 5A)

Outdoor, uncovered pens will be provided for all horses. Hay will be provided, but you are required to bring your own grain and water buckets. You are responsible for keeping your pen clean. There is no tack room.

There are no accommodations provided at the
James Creek Ranch. You are welcome to tent or
bring a camper or trailer. There is no hook up or
dumping, but there is water to fill up your tanks. A fully equipped cabin with shower and bathroom can be
used by participants.

There is no phone, Internet, or cell phone reception available at James Creek Ranch. The closest pay phone is 15 minutes down the road. There is a satellite phone on the premises for emergencies.



There are no spectators allowed at the camps, except for spouses or partners who join the participant.
