The Field Horsemanship Centre in Abbotsford, BC
Situated in the heart of the beautiful Fraser Valley just north of Vancouver, British Columbia, the Field Horsemanship Centre in Abbotsford is nestled on a spacious 20 acres, with a stunning view of 10,778’ Mount Baker that rises majestically in the background. A top-quality facility designed exclusively for the study of horsemanship, the centerpiece of the Abbotsford complex is a 100’x160’ Cover-All arena that has a base of the finest sand/clay composition.
No matter the season, the arena is well-lit and well-ventilated. The round pen and play area, including a pond, will challenge both you and your horse. Stabling for horses includes a barn with 12’x12’ box stalls and larger, outdoor pens with shelters. If you choose to come to courses without your own horse, lease horses are also available.
 The Field Horsemanship Centre in Abbotsford is easy to get to. It’s near both the Abbotsford Airport and the international airport in Vancouver. The Centre is about an hour’s drive from Vancouver and then only 10 minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway. All amenities, such as hotels, campgrounds and restaurants are within easy driving distance from the Centre. From the United States, the Aldergrove border crossing is only 15 minutes from the Centre. And if you want to explore more of British Columbia, the interior of B.C. is a spectacular 3-1/2 hour drive on the Coquihalla Highway.
